Excellent product, definitely recommend it.

All three give a watertight seal and are very easy to fit. Pick the one that matches your setup.
Connects to the base of your water butt by drilling a 32mm hole. Washer and backnut included. Takes 1", 3/4" or 1/2" hose.
For when you're replacing your water butt tap or drilling a new hole. For 1" hose. Rubber seal and locking nut included.
For connecting to a RAINPOD™ system. Includes 3 × 1" jubilee clips. Prefer to go straight to a water butt? Choose the fast flow bend instead.
Simply daisy-chain RAINTAP™ using a T connector on your last or closest water butt. Choose the 1" T connector above.
RAINTAP™ runs on gravity, so the hose tap waters ground at the same level as, or lower than, the water in your butts.
Every garden is different. Tap through these common setups to see where RAINTAP™ fits in yours.

Run a hose from your water butt to RAINTAP™ and put the tap wherever you need it, such as the end of the garden, the greenhouse or the shed.

RAINTAP™ runs on gravity, so a tap on lower ground works brilliantly. The hose tap waters at the same level as, or lower than, the water in your butts.

RAINPOD™ fills your linked water butts from the downpipe. Daisy-chain RAINTAP™ on your last or closest water butt using the 1" T connector.

With the inline connection you can run water points in both directions, so a long garden gets a tap at each end.

Your RAINPOD™ and water butts can sit on the higher ground, with RAINTAP™ water points down on the lower ground either side.

Fast flow tap: fill watering cans and buckets quickly.
Hozelock-style tap: connect a hosepipe in seconds, or your jet wash.

Connect 1", 3/4" or 1/2" hose from your water butt. We recommend 1" for the fastest flow.
Top tip: using 1" hose? Saw off the rest of the hose tail to avoid restriction, then finish with the jubilee clip.

Swap the capping nut to position RAINTAP™ on whichever side of your water butts suits you.

Put water butts on either side, water butts one side and your RAINPOD™ the other, or add more than one RAINTAP™ for a long garden.

Isolation valves let you disconnect RAINTAP™ from your water butts quickly and easily. They come in our quick connect conversion kits below.

Designed to sit out of the way, but high enough to fit a bucket or watering can underneath. Brackets and stainless steel fixings included.
RAINTAP™ is fully compatible with our jumbo quick connect hose connections. Kits are sold separately.
Just brilliant…
The fast flow tap is good and allows you to fill up a watering can quickly. The cost is a little more than I would have liked.
No. You can connect RAINTAP™ to your current water butt setup, or to a RAINPOD™ system. Pick the connector that suits: multi hose tail or fast flow bend for a water butt, T connector for a RAINPOD™ system.
The multi hose tail takes 1", 3/4" or 1/2" hose. For a faster flow we recommend 1" hose, but 3/4" and 1/2" will still work. If you use 1" hose, saw off the rest of the hose tail to avoid restriction, and finish with the jubilee clip provided.
Yes. The removable capping nut lets you choose which side RAINTAP™ sits, left or right.
Yes, connect a hosepipe to the hozelock-style tap in seconds. It works for watering at the same level as, or lower than, the water level in your water butts. It's also great for connecting your jet wash.
Yes. With the inline connection you can add more than one RAINTAP™ if you have a long garden and need more water points.
320mm high × 105mm wide × 100mm deep, including wall brackets, connectors and tap. It's high enough to fit a bucket or watering can underneath.
It installs quickly with minimal DIY skills. Watch the installation video or download the instructions PDF.
We've taken RAINTAP off sale while we finish the new RAINTAP™ and RAINPOD™. Both keep the simple gravity-fed design you know, with an optional Turbo upgrade for real hose pressure. Leave your email and you'll be among the first to see them.
