Easy installation

Installation is a breeze and can be fitted with minimal DIY skills in under 10 mins.

All screws and plugs are provided and only 4 drilled holes are required to firmly secure your pod to the wall.

Ready to install, RAINPOD™ comes pre-assembled.

Heavy duty wall tab fixings

Fixing and securing your pod to your wall couldn't be any simpler, with only 4 holes that need drilling.

Drill each hole using a 7mm drill bit and add the supplied plugs.

Screw and secure your pod firmly into place using these four hidden, heavy duty wall tabs.

All wall fittings supplied (4 × stainless steel screws and 4 × plugs).

Huge downpours, no problems…

As your pod is installed directly to your downpipe, all rainwater is collected and stored in your water butts. This pod will collect over 4,000 litres of water per hour with sufficient rainfall.

Not only will this beast collect huge amounts of water, it also caters for square, rectangular or round downpipes of many sizes:

Duo taps

All RAINPODs come with a fast-flow tap and a "Hozelock" style tap.

The fast-flow tap makes short work of accessing your water. It's ideal for filling up watering cans or buckets: it only takes 2.4 seconds to fill 1 litre of water, a 1,500 litres per hour flow rate.

When connected with 1" hose to your water butts, there are no restrictions. As your pod empties, it is filling up at the same time, just as fast, directly from your water butts.

Hozelock taps are great for connecting a hose pipe for watering your garden or attaching a jet wash to clean your car or garden patio.

Removable debris filter

This is another great feature that RAINPOD™ has to offer.

This filter helps keep your pod running smoothly by catching moss, leaves and other debris before it gets the chance to enter your RAINPOD™.

It can be taken out and cleaned in seconds…

Built-in overflow & splash guard

This is one of our favourite features, the built-in overflow…

When all of your connected water butts are at full capacity, you will not need to worry about overflowing.

All excess water will simply travel down through the middle of your RAINPOD™ and down the drain.

Jumbo hose connector

Your pod includes our fantastic quick connect jumbo 1" hose connectors. The connectors also come with all our water butt connection kits, which you can buy separately in our shop.

Our jumbo hose connectors are simply awesome… These heavy duty fittings let you quickly connect and disconnect our premium 1" hose to your pod in seconds, and give you a fantastic flow using 1" hose throughout.

These connectors simply make the installation and maintenance even quicker and easier.

Water line marking

Genius! This simple addition makes installation even easier.

This line indicates the maximum level of water when all your water butts are full, which is the top of the built-in overflow.

When your water butts are in position, measure 25mm down from the top of your water butts and, using a laser level, follow the laser to your downpipe and make a mark on the wall. Then simply match your mark to the water line and secure your pod to the wall.

Versatile waste pipe

This is another exciting feature that RAINPOD™ has to offer.

When connecting to your waste downpipe, you can either install by sitting it into your existing waste pipe (the standard installation) or use the base section, which caters for 40mm waste pipe.

This is a unique feature, as you are able to create a "new downpipe" or channel the waste water wherever you would like it to go.

Waste pipe and fittings are cheap and can be bought from Screwfix with ease.

Connect directly to your water butts

Connecting to your water butts can be done in two ways:

Simply replace your water butt tap with one of our included 25mm fast-flow bends, or keep your existing water butt tap and drill a second hole where you can then connect our fast-flow bend.

Daisy chain: connect each water butt together via a quick "daisy chain" using the T connectors and clips provided.

Isolation plug

All RAINPOD kits include an isolation plug.

It's included because you may need to disconnect your RAINPOD™ for maintenance.

By disconnecting from your RAINPOD™ and installing the plug, you will not lose any of the water saved in your water butts.

1" premium fast-flow hose pipe

Our 1" premium hose pipe is second to none. Rest assured, you get what you pay for! Not only is it high quality, it looks fantastic too.

Our new stock comes in a fantastic new colour that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like our previous yellow/blue stock: a 75% black "snakeskin" pattern with a 25% blue stripe.

Water butt connection kits

Our water butt connection kits really do make connecting to your water butts an easy and super simple process.

Depending on how many water butts you have, each kit comes with all the accessories, fittings and connectors you will need to create a strong and, more importantly, a permanent, watertight seal all year round.
