We installed a rainpod in the front of our house where previously there was a hideous old water butt instead. We upgraded to two new water butts and moved them into the back garden nicely out of the way. Rainpod is a simple idea that works well. Very pleased and service has been good aswell. Recommend.
I am so glad I came across Rainpod one day whilst trying to find a solution to my garden set up - a large shed with a narrow gap down the side/back of it between the fence - perfect for a few slimline waterbutts but I would have only been able to access one of the waterbutt taps and therefore a multiple waterbutt setup wasn't looking possible. Rainpod was the solution and it works brilliantly! Easy to set up, and if you are struggling you can always chat to someone with the online chat (very handy). We've positioned the rainpod so it's fully accessible for garden use, the hose runs underneath the shed and connects to 3 slimline waterbutts round the back only one of which is fully accessible, yet I can still get all the water stored from the tap on the rainpod. After lots of rain they are now full and ready to go. The pressure from the rainpod is very good, I used the full setup kit for 3 waterbutts and so glad I did. I would highly recommend buying these products, all high quality items and the service offered from Darren and his team is brilliant, very chuffed!
We had 2 problems with storing water from the gutter on the front of our bungalow. There was no room for a water butt and it was also impractical to run hoses to the rear of the property. We are delighted with the Rainpod as solves both these problems. We now have water "on tap" at the front garden directly from the Rainpod and 3 butts connected for the rear garden. The installation was very simple following the instructions on the video. The Rainpod enters the first butt at the bottom but the second and third are connected at the top. We can highly recommend the Rainpod as a simple and efficient system for water collection and storage.
I have to say that we are really pleased with the RAINPOD and how it's working. At the side of our house we have a couple of greenhouses side by side - we use a lot of water but there isn't space for a large water butt as the path is narrow and sloping too. The RAINPOD has been the ideal solution. It was easy to install and the water butts, which are positioned about 5m away against the fence, quickly fill up when it rains heavily. We currently have 2 butts attached but would like to increase that to 4, hence the yellow hosepipe is not currently as tidy as it might be. Having a water meter, I have no doubt that the RAINPOD will save us money in the long term. However, it also saves us time as the water is close to where it is being used and we plan to set up a greenhouse watering system directly attached to the water butt, saving further time and optimizing plant growth. I notice that the RAINPOD now comes with a winter shut off valve which I think is a useful modification. The RAINPOD is a very clever idea and I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
Very happy with product now it's fitted and water butts filled. Easy to set up. Had problems with original taps fitted on water butts and changed them for one's with '0' rings. Still had drips but as you suggested, plumbers ptfe fixed that - would have helped to have been aware, and perhaps not necessary to purchase different taps. Slow to fill water butts - beware wayward slug!! On clearing him out butts filled beautifully! Really pleased with end result.
The Rainpod was the answer for my problem of having rain butts right next to the corner of the house and of anyone having to negotiate them every time they went down that side. They now sit about 7.5m from that corner, well out of the way. The Rainpod itself was very easy to position and fit to the wall by following the instructions provided. The two clips are very strong as stated but are easily fitted by respecting them and taking care. As the pipe from my rain diverter is 1” (25mm), it meant that it was larger than the inlet pipe on the Rainpod. To address this, I simply wrapped tape around the inlet pipe on the Rainpod and fitted a jubilee clip to obtain a watertight fit. I had some self-amalgamating tape so I used that. I used a semi rigid pipe from the diverter as it is situated around a corner from the Rainpod, as I wanted to eliminate any chance of sagging or bending. I decided to lay the hose underground using 32mm plastic piping to not only hide it but give it some protection. At the water butt end, again following the instructions, all was really very straight forward. Overall easy to fit and the system is working well and collecting water. Simple but brilliant! The service from the company was excellent with good delivery time and prompt replies to questions.
Excellent product, finally we got rain in the South and my water butts have finally started to fill up. Product definitely worth it. Definitely recommend it and outstanding customer care.
Simple and effective, durable and well designed. The staff were helpful when I needed to change my setup and delivery was quick. As UK summers become hotter, drier and longer, small innovations with big impacts like this should be lauded.

It's a great bit of kit. Strong, sturdy and works like a treat. Can't believe how much water it stores and how quickly it does the job.

The original order was received quickly. A problem with a damaged casing, probably caused during delivery, was resolved satisfactorily after a few emails clarifying the issues.
Look well made, time will tell if they don't leak, but I trust what the suppliers say. Not used yet.

Easy to install and a great solution to capture rainwater where the water tank/butt needs to be located remotely away from the downpipes. The fast flow and hoselock taps are very helpful way to use the water.
With a remote water butt, during installation you need to carefully consider the height from the ground of the taps and water butt outlet connection to ensure there is enough room to place a watering can underneath the taps. It may be necessary to raise the water butt on a suitable stand to make sure the Rainpod can be installed at an appropriate height.

Centralising capture and dispensation in one unit simplifies setup considerably, leaving you to find the best places around the garden for the storage.
We stumbled on Rainpod whilst looking for a way to fill multiple water butts. It seemed like the ideal solution. Despite some online discussions suggesting it can’t possibly work, we went ahead with a purchase of the Rainpod Max and accessories to connect four water butts.
Installation was very straight forward, with good instructions. Everything fitted well and parts seem high quality.
Unfortunately (?) it didn’t rain for two weeks after installation so we had no idea if all was good or not. But when the heavens eventually opened we were pleased to see the system working perfectly and all water butts filling nicely. An excellent product and service from Rainpod.
Fitted one on each drainpipe of my garage, which means I now capture almost every drop of rain that falls on an area of 60 Sq.Metres.
It is really good at catching all the rainwater during heavy downpours.

The rainpod was relatively simple to install and seems to be of good sturdy construction. It does what it is supposed to do and collects water from the downpipe and feeds it to the waterbutts.
The fast flow tap is good and allows you to fill up a watering can quickly. The cost is a little more than I would have liked.
Simple and ingenious product. Very easy to install. I daisy-chained 2 water butts. The fact you don't need overflow pipes is great. Seems to work well.

Build quality is very good. Fixed to the wall using 2, 7mm screws/rawlplugs.
I chose to use the rain diverter that came with my water butts as it was more compact and the connection was straight.
Managed to fill 2x110 L butts with 1 day of heavy rain.
Chose this over the Rainpod Max as it was less invasive to the gutter and a bit cheaper.
Came with 5 m of 1" hose. I burried it under my slabs. Only had enough connections and jubilee clips for 1 butt so had to order more.
Instructions are simple enough but it helps to have a good understanding of how the system works.
I put the butt next to the gutter to gauge the height and used my watering can to make sure the tap wasn't too low.

I brought the RainPod max to collect as much water as possible. I installed 4 water butts of 250 litres each. Total of 1000 litres. I am collecting water from the rear of my house. The RainPod max filled 1000 litres in 24 hours. Since then we have had a long dry spell. Could do with more volume.
Works well. A coffee jar of boiling water is an essential assembly tool in order to make the hose ends pliant and get tight seals on fittings.
The product is well made of thick plastic, no flimsy parts, easy to install (slightly tricky to level in sloped garden). Works well, my water butt is already full.

After my original rainpod was damaged by contractors (and myself lol)I had to replace it. Once you start harvesting rainwater it does become a bit of an obsession but the Rainpod does the job. I had a water meter installed last year and the Rainpod has paid back, brilliant…..
I think the Rainpod Max is a good product which potentially solves my problem of not being able to locate water butts adjacent to my downpipe.
I purchased the 2 butt kit then another single. I now have 3 x 100 litre butts connected together for bottom filling via the Rainpod…brilliant…no more wasting drinking water..

Does the job, only small complaint, would suggest it came with a Rainwater Reducer based on pipe size to cover the inlet to stop debris from falling inside.
Hose appears to be good quality but connectors leak.

Seems to work well and can divert copious amounts of rainwater, although can't quite cope with some of the monsoon type rain we occasionally get, but that particular downpipe does take a LOT of water
I love this product and what it can do! The reason why I didn’t give it five stars is the amount of effort it took for me to prevent leaks! What should have been a five minute job turned into several hours as it took me ages to stop the leaks between the hose pipe connections. I had to use a combination of plumbers tape and insulation tape but I got there. My new water butt and my two old ones now work together and the old ones are at the other end of the garden! Exactly what I wanted. I love the fact I can pull the water off one tap. I was thinking about getting a second Rainpod for another location but the prevention of the leaks has put me off for now as I don’t have the time to deal with it.
I don't know how it works but it does. Water butt is 6 meters away from the down pipe but it now fills quickly but doesn't overflow. Easy to install but watch your fingers!

Superb solution for diverting collected rainwater to any nearby location. Installation involves drilling two holes in the wall and making two cuts in the down pipe - simple !
