Step by step installation guide

01

Choose your water butt location

Locate and position your water butt in its ideal spot. If using multiple water butts, simply ensure the tops of each water butt are at the same level.

02

Water level height

Mark approx 25mm below the top of your water butt.  This will be the maximum level the water will reach in all your connected water butts.

If you want more water, simply reduce the height, 25mm is a good all rounder.

03

Getting the levels correct

Using a laser level, match the mark on the water butt with the laser and follow the laser across to the downpipe where your pod will be installed.

If you can't access a laser, for a brick built house, you can follow the brick line.

Or you can cut a length of hose pipe, hold one end at the correct height, fill it with water and wait until water comes out the other side until the levels match.

04

Marking the pipe and wall

Mark the pipe and the wall next to the pipe where you can see the laser level.

05

Measuring & marking the cut lines

Mark 90mm directly above the pipe mark line and mark again (first cut) From this mark measure downwards 910mm (second cut).

These two marks are where you can cut your down pipe.

06

Place pod into your bottom downpipe

Now that you have cut your down pipe, place the overflow at the bottom of your pod in the bottom downpipe.

07

Match wall mark to the water line

Your pod comes with a built in water line.

Simply hold your pod against the wall so the water line matches your mark on the wall. Keep pod in place, using a pencil make a mark on the top right screw hole.

Take off the wall, drill hole with a 7mm drill and insert plug provided.

08

Temporarily attach your pod

Place pod so the bottom sits in your downpipe & loosely connect your pod with the top right screw, no need to over tighten.

Now your pod is loosely connected using the first screw, place spirit level on top of the pod and level up.

Mark the second screw hole, remove pod and drill hole, add plug.

09

Final stage & connecting to water butts

Attach pod to the top two screws, mark the bottom final two holes, remove pod, drill holes, add plugs.

Finally, attach pod permanently on the wall, do not overtighted screws, your pod will be firmly secured.

Add both taps provided, multihose tail or fast fit connecter then connect your hose. Wait for the rain...
